Ok, first I want to say that I am posting this here so people can see if first thing on the main page. Apparently I some how messed up CAPTCHA portion in the registration process. Thus, nobody could register. I'm guessing this is why nobody new has registered since my friend Jared. CAPTCHA has been turned off for the time being untill i can fix the problem. YOU CAN NOW REGISTER! With that being said, I encourage all of you to invite your friends and family to join our community.

Due to recent frustrations with every theme I installed and mod I tried to get working, some major changes have taken place on Arbituz.
Where should I start...how about the template. As you can see, we are back were we started with the default SMF template. I know not many like it, but after some hard thinking, I believe it is for the best. This is the only theme that provides the flexibility I need to improve the site. I also believe that it has a very professional look to it. A new logo will replace the plain white text on the top to add a bit more color.
You may be wondering what I mean by flexibility. When I say this, I don't mean the ability to throw as much random content on here as I can with ease, but to do things like you will ...

You may be wondering what I mean by flexibility. When I say this, I don't mean the ability to throw as much random content on here as I can with ease, but to do things like you will see on our main page (www.arbituz.com). With this template I can program my own content into the site too. The default template files are written very professionally and easily readable for me to edit. I will leave some of the other templates on the site if you wish to change back to them, but support for them will be discontinued.
On that note, you will be seeing many additions to the site, small and big. Some will come and go (depending on feedback) while others will come and stay. I have currently installed a photo gallery that can be located by the link on the top of any page. Here you can share any good screenshots you have taken in games, screenshots found online, funny pictures, etc.. Have fun with it.
I hope that I will gain the support of the members on my decisions and we can continue to grow.

I have decided that it would help the forum alot, to be running on VBulletin. The only problem with this is that it is $100 a year for leasing or $180 to purchase it. Now I believe that with all their great (professional) styles, there mods (with support and updates) and just the smooth running of the forum itself, that it would benifit all of us. Also, unlike the switch to SMF, we would not lose any topics, posts, or users. Everything (including arcade highscores) WILL be transfered to VBulletin and the VBulletin arcade. For those of you who do not know what VBulletin is, you can see a demo version here: www.vbulletin.com. So with that being said, I am on a mission. We must save enough to purchase atleast a year of leasing to try it out and see if we like it. I myself will be ...

We must save enough to purchase atleast a year of leasing to try it out and see if we like it. I myself will be contributing money out of my pocket to make this happen. I know that no one out there is going to want to donate money, and I understand. The help I would like from you guys is to check out our "sponsers" at the top of all of the pages on the forum. This will help generate money along side of what I'm going to put up to get a leased versoin (or if money starts pouring in a purchased copy) of VBulletin. I will keep a running amount of what we have saved up.
Current Progress: $43.57 - As of 12/09/08
I know that doesn't sound like much, but thats all we've gotten through the ads.
Thanks, Arbituz

So I want to first apologize for having to reregister. I promise it will not happen again.
With the switch from phpBB3 to SMF, I will be able to do alot more with the site. This includes new templates and mods.
